The Winnfield Tigers basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Homer Pelicans to 45 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red River for a 2A District 3 contest on Tuesday, January 9.
