Connecticut High School Basketball - Wolcott RVT ripped by Housatonic-Wamogo
January 5, 2024: Torrington, CT 06790 The Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Wolcott RVT Wildcats to 20 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mountaineers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Litchfield for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Housatonic-Wamogo will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 45-39 league loss to Wamogo (Litchfield, CT). The Cowboys record now stands at 2-5.
The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Abbott RVT (Danbury, CT). The Wolverines enter the Connecticut Technical contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Abbott RVT was routed by New Fairfield (New Fairfield, CT), 48-1, in a non-league contest.
