Connecticut High School Basketball - Plainfield ripped by Ledyard
January 5, 2024: Ledyard, CT 06339 The Ledyard Colonels basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Plainfield Panthers to 24 in the Colonels non-league triumph on Friday.
The Colonels now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Killingly for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Ledyard will battle a Redmen team coming off a 39-35 non-league loss to Fitch (Groton, CT). The Redmen record now stands at 4-3.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stonington (Stonington, CT). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Stonington was routed by Killingly (Killingly, CT), 62-42, in a non-league contest.
