January 5, 2024: McMurray, PA 15317 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Peters Township Indians (McMurray, PA) and the visiting Plum Mustangs (Pittsburgh, PA), saw Peters Township's basketball squad overcome Plum by a tally of 59-50.
With the victory, Peters Township improves its record to 12-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA) to confront the Colts in a WPIAL 6A 2 challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 10-1. Chartiers Valley won 44-36 in their recent league challenge against Upper St. Clair (Upper St. Clair, PA)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Penn Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 1 challenge, on Monday, January 8. Plum will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
