California High School Basketball - Ripon Christian fells Stone Ridge Christian
January 5, 2024: Merced, CA 95348 Ripon Christian Knights (Ripon, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Stone Ridge Christian Knights (Merced, CA), 41-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ripon Christian upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Knights host Escalon (Escalon, CA) to play the Cougars in a Trans Valley League bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 16-0. Escalon won 52-51 in their recent league bout against Riverbank (Riverbank, CA)
Next up, the Knights play the Turlock Christian Eagles (Turlock, CA) in a Central California Athletic Alliance bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Stone Ridge Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 44-20 non-league loss to Bear Creek (Stockton, CA).
