South Bison (Cheyenne, WY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Riverton Wolverines (Riverton, WY), 36-28 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Green River (Green River, WY) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Green River lost 51-42 in their recent non-league bout against Wheatland (Wheatland, WY)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Riverton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Plainsmen come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 59-36 non-league loss to Rock Springs (Rock Springs, WY).
