Sisseton Redmen (Sisseton, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Roncalli Cavaliers (Aberdeen, SD), 62-55 in a league bout.

With the win, Sisseton upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Redmen host Hankinson (Hankinson, ND) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Hankinson lost 52-22 in their recent league bout against Wyndmere/Lidgerwood (Wyndmere, ND)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. Roncalli will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Chargers go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 68-27 non-league loss to Ethan (Ethan, SD).
