Missouri High School Basketball - University City overwhelms Whitfield
January 5, 2024: St. Louis, MO 63141 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the University City Lions (St. Louis, MO) and the host Whitfield Warriors (St. Louis, MO), saw University City's basketball squad wallop Whitfield by a tally of 57-15.
With the victory, University City improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Parkway South (Manchester, MO) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, January 8. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 5-5. Parkway South lost 47-33 in their recent non-league test against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL)
The Warriors now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nerinx Hall for a MWAA test on Thursday, January 25.
