Albany Academy for Girls Bears (Albany, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), 30-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Albany Academy for Girls upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Bears travel to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY) to clash with the Blackbirds in a bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Blackbirds go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Cadets clash with the Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 9. La Salle Institute will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
