North Carolina High School Basketball - East Burke nudges Bandys
January 5, 2024: Connelly Springs, NC 28612 East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC), 28-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, East Burke upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Newton-Conover lost 35-24 in their recent non-league bout against Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC)
Next up, the Trojans clash with the Lincolnton Wolves (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Bandys will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 35-24 non-league win over Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
