The Downey Vikings basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting San Juan Hills Stallions to 22 in the Vikings non-league victory on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynwood for a contest on Wednesday, January 10.

The Stallions (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Titans come into the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Tesoro was routed by Beckman (Irvine, CA), 75-9, in a non-league contest.
