West Bloomfield Lakers (West Bloomfield, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI), 48-17 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, West Bloomfield upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lakers host Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI) to face the Ravens in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 9. The Ravens enter the game with a record of 0-0.
