In Friday's non-league match, the host Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS basketball team scored a tight 46-40 triumph over the Aragon Dons.

In their next game, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS face the San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Hillsdale will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Bearcats enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 54-23 non-league loss to Burlingame (Burlingame, CA).

The Dons (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against El Camino (South San Francisco, CA). The Colts come into the battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, El Camino was nudged by Washington (San Francisco, CA), 54-47, in a non-league battle.
