January 5, 2024: Springfield, IL 62702 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Calvary Saints (Springfield, IL) and the visiting Edinburg Wildcats (Edinburg, IL), saw Calvary's basketball squad hold off Edinburg by a tally of 57-50.
With the victory, Calvary improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Greenville (Greenville, IL) to play the Comets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 13. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Wildcats play the St. Elmo Eagles (St. Elmo, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Edinburg will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.
