California High School Basketball - King/Drew overwhelms Marshall
January 5, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90059 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the King/Drew Golden Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA), saw King/Drew's basketball squad wallop Marshall by a tally of 72-22.
With the victory, King/Drew improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Crenshaw (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Cougars in a challenge on Friday, January 12. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Crenshaw won 62-50 in their recent league challenge against George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Barristers play the Eagle Rock Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 10. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 52-40 non-league win over Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA).
