January 5, 2024: Meridian, ID 83646 Owyhee Storm (Meridian, ID) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mountain View Mavericks (Meridian, ID), 43-39 in a league bout.
With the win, Owyhee upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Storm travel to Nampa (Nampa, ID) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Thursday, January 11. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Mavericks play the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies (Meridian, ID) in a bout, on Thursday, January 11. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 67-54 league loss to Middleton (Middleton, ID).
