Illinois High School Basketball - Phillips knocks off Evergreen Park
January 5, 2025: Evergreen Park, IL 60805 In Sunday's non-league contest, the visiting Phillips Wildcats basketball team scored a good 72-64 win over the Evergreen Park Mustangs.
The Wildcats (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clark (Chicago, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Clark was topped by Whitney Young (Chicago, IL), 62-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a South Suburban contest, on Thursday, January 9. Evergreen Park will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record.
