January 5, 2025: Tyngsborough, MA 01879 The crowd at Sunday's non-league challenge between the Groton-Dunstable Crusaders (Groton, MA) and the host Tyngsborough Tigers (Tyngsborough, MA), observed Groton-Dunstable's basketball team knock off Tyngsborough by a score of 71-51.
The Crusaders (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA). The Patriots come into the Midland-Wachusett B challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, North Middlesex Regional prevailed over Marlborough (Marlborough, MA), 61-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Quabbin Regional Panthers (Barre, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett C challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Tyngsborough will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 61-43 league loss to Lunenburg (Lunenburg, MA).
