The Emeralds now possess a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gladstone for a non-league outing on Friday, January 9. Manistique will clash with a Braves squad coming off a 51-30 non-league win over Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Braves record now stands at 6-2.
The Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Maplewood Baptist Academy (Kinross, MI). The Black Bears come into the non-league outing with a 3-3 record. In their last outing, Maplewood Baptist Academy routed Mackinac Island (Mackinac Island, MI), 55-49, in a league outing.
