California High School Basketball - Live Oak nipped by Gilroy

January 5, 2022: Morgan Hill, CA 95037

The Gilroy Mustangs tipped the host Live Oak Acorns basketball team by a final score of 50-47 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the San Benito Haybalers (Hollister, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 6. Gilroy will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record.

With the defeat, Live Oak moves to 4-8 on the year. The Acorns travel to Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA) to face the Saints in a Blossom Valley - Santa Teresa East game on Wednesday, January 12. The Saints enter the game with a record of 7-5. Santa Teresa lost 73-66 in their recent non-league game against Leigh (San Jose, CA)
