Missouri High School Basketball - Battle fells Capital City
January 6, 2022: Columbia, MO 65202 Battle Spartans (Columbia, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO), 76-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Battle upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Spartans host Whitfield (St. Louis, MO) to play the Warriors in a Freelance bout on Thursday, January 13. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 9-4. Whitfield won 63-22 in their recent league bout against Christian (Springfield, MO)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the St. James Tigers (St. James, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 7. Capital City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 67-61 non-league win over Dixon (Dixon, MO).
