New Jersey High School Basketball - Shore Regional knocked off by Central Regional
January 6, 2022: Bayville, NJ 08721 The Central Regional Golden Eagles basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Shore Regional Blue Devils to 34 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Toms River South for a Shore A - South contest on Friday, January 7. Central Regional will battle a Indians team coming off a 80-33 league loss to Brick Memorial (Brick, NJ). The Indians record now stands at 1-2.
The Blue Devils (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets enter the Shore A - Central contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Holmdel ran past Toms River North (Toms River, NJ), 74-70, in a non-league contest.
