South Carolina High School Basketball - Governor's School for Science & Math thwarts King's Academy
January 6, 2022: Hartsville, SC 29550 The Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles (Hartsville, SC) basketball knocked off the visiting King's Academy Lions (Florence, SC), 51-36 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Great Falls (Great Falls, SC). The Red Devils go into the A Region 2 test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, Great Falls notched a victory over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 48-47, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Conway Christian for a SCISA AA Region III test on Friday, January 7. King's Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 52-42 league win over Dillon Christian (Dillon, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
