California High School Basketball - San Pedro tops Salesian
January 6, 2022: San Pedro, CA 90731 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the San Pedro Pirates (San Pedro, CA) and the visiting Salesian Mustangs (Los Angeles, CA), saw San Pedro's basketball squad knock off Salesian by a count of 78-59.
With the victory, San Pedro upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Banning (Wilmington, CA) to play the Pilots in a Marine challenge on Wednesday, January 12. The Pilots come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Banning won 59-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Bell (Bell, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the St. Paul Swordsmen (Santa Fe Springs, CA) in a Camino Real challenge, on Friday, January 7. Salesian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Swordsmen come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 56-54 non-league loss to Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA).
