January 6, 2022: Hawarden, IA 51023 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA) and the visiting Trinity Christian Tigers (Hull, IA), saw West Sioux's basketball squad wallop Trinity Christian by a tally of 71-41.
With the victory, West Sioux improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA) to confront the Westerners in a War Eagle challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Westerners come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Akron-Westfield lost 71-43 in their recent league challenge against Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union Royals (Marcus, IA) in a War Eagle challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Trinity Christian will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Royals come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 59-50 league loss to South O'Brien (Paullina, IA).
