Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA) and the visiting Kerman Lions (Kerman, CA), saw Hoover's basketball squad wallop Kerman by a count of 66-43.

With the victory, Hoover upgrades its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Bullard (Fresno, CA) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 8. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Bullard lost 57-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Corcoran (Corcoran, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Sierra Chieftains (Tollhouse, CA) in a North Sequoia challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Kerman will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record.
