Jones Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Lincoln Park Lions (Chicago, IL), 42-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Jones upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Eagles travel to De La Salle (Chicago, IL) to play the Meteors in a non-league bout on Monday, January 24. The Meteors go into the bout with a record of 11-6. De La Salle won 43-10 in their recent non-league bout against Bogan (Chicago, IL)
