In Thursday's non-league outing, the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Steubenville Big Red (Steubenville, OH), by a margin of 64-37.

The Cadets (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Monarchs go into the non-league outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, John Marshall was trounced by Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV), 102-38, in a league outing.
