Florida High School Basketball - Sagemont succumbs to Alexander

The Alexander Cougars topped the host Sagemont basketball team by a final score of 67-59 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Cougars face the North Florida Educational Institute Fighting Eagles (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 7. Alexander will attempt to move on its 11-2 season record. The Fighting Eagles enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 65-57 league win over Impact Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL).

With the defeat, Sagemont moves to 13-2 on the year. The travel to Andrew Jackson (Jacksonville, FL) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, January 7. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 8-7. Andrew Jackson won 53-51 in their recent non-league game against Sports Leadership & Management (Tampa, FL)
