Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY), 46-23 in a league bout.

With the victory, Shenendehowa upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Plainsmen travel to Colonie Central (Albany, NY) to play the Raiders in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue test on Tuesday, January 10. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 5-4. Colonie Central won 52-45 in their recent non-league test against Columbia (East Greenbush, NY)

The Warriors now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for a Section 2 Suburban - Gray test on Tuesday, January 10. Averill Park will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 53-49 non-league loss to Shaker (Latham, NY). The Spartans record now stands at 6-3.
