Missouri High School Basketball - Billings overwhelms New Covenant Academy
January 6, 2023: Billings, MO 65610 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Billings Wildcats (Billings, MO) and the visiting New Covenant Academy Warriors (Springfield, MO), saw Billings's basketball squad wallop New Covenant Academy by a tally of 49-24.
With the victory, Billings improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Lighthouse Christian (Springfield, MO) to confront the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Lighthouse Christian won 62-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Bradleyville (Bradleyville, MO)
Next up, the Warriors confront the School of the Ozarks Patriots (Point Lookout, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. New Covenant Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 57-34 non-league loss to Humansville (Humansville, MO).
