California High School Basketball - Butte Valley holds off Greenville
January 6, 2023: Greenville, CA 95947 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Butte Valley Bulldogs (Dorris, CA) and the host Greenville Indians (Greenville, CA), saw Butte Valley's basketball squad hold off Greenville by a tally of 60-54.
With the victory, Butte Valley improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Hayfork (Hayfork, CA) to confront the Timberjacks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Timberjacks come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Hayfork won 38-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Tulelake (Tulelake, CA)
Next up, the Indians confront the Tulelake Honkers (Tulelake, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Greenville will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Honkers come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 38-36 non-league loss to Hayfork (Hayfork, CA).
