The Thunderbird Titans (Phoenix, AZ) basketball nipped the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), 64-63 in Friday's non-league test.

The Titans (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ). The Matadors go into the 4A Skyline test with a 0-13 record. In their last test, Shadow Mountain was tipped by Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA), 72-59, in a non-league test.

The Cobras now own a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Peoria for a 4A West Valley bout on Wednesday, January 11. Cactus will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 80-67 non-league loss to American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 12-3.
