North Carolina High School Basketball - Cape Fear Academy overwhelmed by Greensboro Day School
January 6, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27455 The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes basketball team (Wilmington, NC), was overwhelmed 61-37 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Greensboro Day School Bengals (Greensboro, NC)
The Bengals now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coastal Christian for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 7. Greensboro Day School will battle a Centurions team coming off a 81-35 non-league loss to Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC). The Centurions record now stands at 8-8.
The Hurricanes (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against New Life Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Monarchs come into the non-league battle with a 18-9 record. In their last battle, New Life Christian Academy was overwhelmed by Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 64-55, in a league battle.
