In Friday's league outing, the Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) basketball squad beat the visiting Evansville Memorial Tigers (Evansville, IN), by a margin of 62-51.

The Knights (6-4) will now prepare for their outing against Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY). The Colonels go into the non-league outing with a 8-5 record.

The Tigers now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Owensboro Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 10. Evansville Memorial will clash with a Aces squad coming off a 83-65 non-league win over Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Aces record now stands at 10-1.
