New Mexico High School Basketball - Silver tops Cliff
January 6, 2023: Cliff, NM 88028 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM) and the host Cliff Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cliff, NM), saw Silver's basketball squad knock off Cliff by a tally of 41-32.
With the victory, Silver improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Fighting Colts travel to Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM) to play the Mavericks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Lordsburg won 83-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Ramah (Ramah, NM)
Next up, the Cowboys/Cowgirls play the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Cliff will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 61-45 non-league win over Raton (Raton, NM).
