Louisiana High School Basketball - Comeaux tops Morgan City
January 6, 2023: Morgan City, LA 70380 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) and the host Morgan City Tigers (Morgan City, LA), saw Comeaux's basketball squad knock off Morgan City by a tally of 51-40.
With the victory, Comeaux improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA) to play the Lions in a 5A District 3 challenge on Thursday, January 12. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-4.
Next up, the Tigers play the Berwick Panthers (Berwick, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Morgan City will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record.
