Florida High School Basketball - International Community overwhelms Family Christian Academy

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the International Community Comets (Winter Park, FL) and the visiting Family Christian Academy Lions (Orlando, FL), saw International Community's basketball squad wallop Family Christian Academy by a tally of 78-51.

With the victory, International Community improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Comets travel to New Smyrna Beach (New Smyrna Beach, FL) to confront the Barracudas in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Barracudas come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. New Smyrna Beach lost 60-55 in their recent league challenge against Winter Springs (Winter Springs, FL)

Next up, the Lions confront the West Melbourne Christian Academy (Melbourne, FL) in a Florida Christian - Eastern challenge, on Monday, January 9. Family Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 65-33 league win over Liberty Christian Prep (Tavares, FL).
