January 6, 2023: Gardendale, AL 35071 The Huffman Vikings basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Gardendale Rockets to 57 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paul W. Bryant for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Huffman will battle a Stampede team coming off a 42-37 league win over Hillcrest (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Stampede record now stands at 9-7.
The Rockets (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Center Point (Birmingham, AL). The Eagles come into the 6A Area 11 contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Center Point prevailed over Fultondale (Birmingham, AL), 44-41, in a non-league contest.
