Missouri High School Basketball - Iberia overwhelms Newburg
January 6, 2023: Iberia, MO 65486 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Iberia Rangers (Iberia, MO) and the visiting Newburg Wolves (Newburg, MO), saw Iberia's basketball squad wallop Newburg by a tally of 72-37.
With the victory, Iberia improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Linn (Linn, MO) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Linn lost 80-52 in their recent league challenge against Fatima (Westphalia, MO)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Crocker Lions (Crocker, MO) in a Frisco challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Newburg will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 52-48 non-league loss to Niangua (Niangua, MO).
