Oklahoma High School Basketball - Lawton can't hold off Norman
January 6, 2023: Norman, OK 73069 The Norman Tigers basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Lawton Wolverines to 49 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westmoore for a non-league match on Saturday, January 7. Norman will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK). The Jaguars record now stands at 8-2.
With the defeat, Lawton moves to 7-1 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK) to meet the Patriots in a non-league match on Saturday, January 7. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 3-6. Putnam City West lost 62-54 in their recent non-league match against Westmoore (Oklahoma City, OK)
