January 6, 2023: Bolton, MA 01740 The Nashoba Regional Chieftains (Bolton, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Leominster Blue Devils (Leominster, MA), 60-58 in Friday's non-league test.
The Chieftains (3-2) will now prepare for their test against North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA). The Patriots go into the Midland-Wachusett B test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, North Middlesex Regional was tipped by Westborough (Westborough, MA), 60-48, in a league test.
The Blue Devils now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wachusett Regional for a Midland-Wachusett A test on Tuesday, January 10. Leominster will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 56-32 league win over Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 1-4.
