Ohio High School Basketball - Watkins Memorial crushes Logan
January 6, 2023: Logan, OH 43138 Watkins Memorial Warriors (Pataskala, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Logan Chieftains (Logan, OH), 54-33 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Watkins Memorial upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Granville (Granville, OH) to play the Blue Aces in a Licking County - Buckeye bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Blue Aces come into the bout with a record of 5-6.
Next up, the Chieftains play the Fairfield Union Falcons (Lancaster, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Logan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 51-39 league win over Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH).
