In Friday's non-league outing, the Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA) basketball squad beat the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), by a margin of 62-51.

The Unicorns (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Westchester (Los Angeles, CA). The Comets go into the Western outing with a 11-6 record. In their last outing, Westchester defeated St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 65-50, in a non-league outing.

The Parrots now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they travel to Chavez for a East Valley outing on Monday, January 9. Poly will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 72-64 non-league loss to Downtown Magnets (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.
