The Mesquite Wildcats routed the visiting Poston Butte Broncos basketball team by a final score of 75-45 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the St. Mary's Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a 4A Desert Sky game, on Wednesday, January 11. Mesquite will attempt to move on its 12-6 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 6-10 record after their 81-70 non-league loss to Perry (Gilbert, AZ).
