Michigan High School Basketball - Michigan Collegiate crushes Pontiac
January 6, 2023: Pontiac, MI 48340 Michigan Collegiate Cougars (Warren, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI), 60-20 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Michigan Collegiate upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Detroit Public Safety Academy (Detroit, MI) to play the Eagles in a Charter bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Detroit Public Safety Academy won 64-48 in their recent league bout against Arts & Tech (Pontiac, MI)
Next up, the Phoenix play the West Bloomfield Lakers (West Bloomfield, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. Pontiac will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Lakers come into the bout with a 5-1 record after their 52-39 non-league loss to Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI).
