New Mexico High School Basketball - Ruidoso can't hold off Riverside
January 6, 2023: Ruidoso, NM 88345 The Riverside Rangers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Ruidoso Warriors to 48 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rangers now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ysleta for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 10. Riverside will face a Indians team coming off a 71-30 non-league win over Fabens (Fabens, TX). The Indians record now stands at 13-8.
With the defeat, Ruidoso moves to 7-4 on the year. The Warriors host Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM) to face the Chiefs in a non-league match on Monday, January 9. The Chiefs enter the match with a record of 5-8. Mescalero Apache lost 51-39 in their recent non-league match against Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM)
