Iowa High School Basketball - Sioux Central crushes West Bend-Mallard
January 6, 2023: West Bend, IA 50597 Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host West Bend-Mallard Wolverines (West Bend, IA), 73-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sioux Central upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Ridge View (Holstein, IA) to play the Raptors in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 7. The Raptors come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Ridge View won 63-56 in their recent league bout against Westwood (Sloan, IA)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 9. West Bend-Mallard will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The E'Hawks come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 41-39 league win over East Sac County (Lake View, IA).
