Abington Galloping Ghosts (Abington, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cheltenham Panthers (Wyncote, PA), 80-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Abington upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Galloping Ghosts host New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA) to clash with the Lions in a Suburban One - American bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA) in a Suburban One - American bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Cheltenham will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
