January 6, 2023: Albany, LA 70711 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) and the visiting Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA), saw Albany's basketball squad wallop Denham Springs by a tally of 65-43.
With the victory, Albany improves its record to 21-0 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Holden (Holden, LA) to play the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Holden lost 65-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Mandeville (Mandeville, LA)
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Denham Springs will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 60-44 non-league win over Hammond (Hammond, LA).
